Neighbors in Service is a 501(c)(3) Florida nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans, military families, and first responders in Manatee County and the surrounding region.
By focusing on three core pillars, we maximize our local impact and create lasting change in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much to serve our nation.
Our Three Pillars
Educate. We equip veterans, military families, and first responders with the practical tools, education, and mentoring required to build stable futures.
Strengthen. We help veteran-serving organizations and the neighbors who support them grow stronger, align their efforts, and increase their collective local footprint.
Honor. We honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes, ensuring their legacy is never forgotten.
The pillars are not compartments. A single afternoon of work often advances all three at once, and the national organizations we bring to Manatee County rarely fit in only one category.
Our Pillar Partners
We do not run every program our community needs. Others already do that work at national scale, and our role is to bring them here. We currently represent Wreaths Across America, Folds of Honor, American Corporate Partners, Tunnel to Towers, and The Fire Watch.
